Terms & guidelines
What you can put here, and what we’ll take down.
Short, because it needs to be read rather than agreed to.
Whose scan is whose
Anything uploaded by an account that is not attached to a client is badged Community, wherever it appears — the gallery, the scene page, and inside an embed on somebody else's site. It means one thing: a person uploaded it, and TRLXR has not surveyed it or checked it.
Scans belonging to a park, club or client carry no badge. Those are work TRLXR stands behind.
What you may upload
Trails, tracks, and the features on them. That is the whole of it — this is a trail library, and a scan of something else is off-topic however good it is.
Upload only captures you made or have the right to publish, of places you were allowed to be. Don't upload people's homes, private land you had no permission to scan, or anything that identifies somebody who did not agree to it.
An account with no organisation may keep 3 scans at a time. Deleting one frees a slot.
What we do about spam and off-topic uploads
We take it down and, if the account was set up to do it, we delete the account. There is no appeal queue and no automated system deciding any of this — a person looks and a person acts.
A scan taken down for review is not deleted. Its owner still sees it, marked under review, and it comes back if there is nothing wrong with it.
We reserve the right to remove any scan or account for spam, off-topic content, or content we would not put this domain's name to.
If you close your account
Your scans stay up. They are public, and one of them may be the only capture of a trail that exists — so when an account is deleted its scans move into TRLXR's care rather than being destroyed with it, and your name comes off them.
If you want a scan gone, delete the scan. That removes the scan and its files for good, and it is the only thing that does.
What we don't do
We don't fingerprint devices, ask for a phone number, or track you across the internet to work out whether you have more than one account. If that ever changes it will be written here first.
